Pied A Terre is part of The Dune Group which was formed in March 2009 with the acquisition by Dune of Shoe Studio, which now houses Pied a Terre, Bertie and Chelsea Cobbler as well as the online footwear website Shoestudio.com.

Dune was founded in 1992 by our Chairman, Daniel Rubin, whose family have been in the footwear business for four generations. His father owned a ladies fashion shoe factory, his grandfather arrived in London from Lithuania at the end of the 19th century and opened a small shoe factory and his great grandfather was a cobbler in the back streets of Vilnius. Shoes are in our blood!
